Welcome to Zavorium

By using our voice-to-recipe platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully as they contain important information about your rights and obligations.

Acceptable Use

You May:

Create and share original recipes (up to 3 per day for standard users)
Use voice input to generate recipe content and search for recipes
Search for recipes using text or voice input
Rate and review recipes from other users
Share recipes on social media and other platforms
Save recipes to your personal collection and favorites
Plan meals on your calendar and save meal plans
Manage your shopping list and mark items completed
Track kitchen inventory and generate pantry-based dishes
Set up email notifications for recipes matching your favorite tags
Manage your favorite food tags and notification preferences
Submit feedback, bug reports, and feature requests
Download recipe data for personal use

You May Not:

Post copyrighted content without permission
Submit spam, misleading, or harmful content
Attempt to hack or disrupt our services
Impersonate other users or entities
Abuse the email notification system or send unsolicited messages
Circumvent daily recipe creation limits or session timeouts
Use our platform for illegal activities

Moderation & Enforcement

We aim to keep the community safe and useful. We may remove content, restrict features, or delete recipes and/or user accounts without notice if we detect abuse, illegal activity, harassment, spam, or other violations of these terms or our policies.

Enforcement actions: Content removal, recipe deletion, and account suspension/termination may occur immediately to protect other users.

Content Ownership

Your Content

You retain ownership of recipes and content you create. By posting, you grant us a license to display and share your content on our platform, and this license continues for content that remains on the platform after account deletion (for example, recipes kept for community access or saved by other users).

Our Platform

Zavorium and our technology remain our intellectual property. You may not copy or redistribute our platform.

Public Content & Profile Visibility

Public recipes, reviews, ratings, and any display name or profile photo you choose to share may be visible to other users and visitors. You can choose recipe visibility (public or private) when saving: private recipes are visible only to the creator and admins. You can manage your public profile details in settings.

User Content Accuracy & Responsibility

Recipes, meal plans, and reviews are contributed by users. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and safety of what you post and for ensuring that ingredients, instructions, and nutritional guidance are appropriate for you and others. We do not guarantee or endorse the accuracy or type of any user-provided content.

AI-Generated Content

Important: Our AI (Google Gemini) helps enhance your recipes with formatting, images, and suggestions, and can generate pantry dishes or meal plans. While we strive for accuracy, please review all AI-generated content before publishing or following it.

Standard users can generate AI inventory dishes and AI meal plans once per day. Admin users have unlimited AI generation access.

Content Moderation: We may review and remove content that violates our policies or community guidelines to maintain a safe platform for all users.

AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Some content on Zavorium, including recipes, ingredients, and cooking instructions, is generated using artificial intelligence. While we strive to provide helpful and enjoyable content, AI-generated recipes may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies.

All content is provided for informational purposes only and should not be considered professional culinary, nutritional, or medical advice. Users are responsible for verifying ingredients, cooking times, temperatures, and food safety practices.

Zavorium makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any recipe and is not liable for any outcomes, injuries, allergic reactions, or damages resulting from the use of AI-generated content.

Advertising & Sponsored Content

If/when we enable advertising or sponsored content, ads may appear alongside recipes and other pages. We do not endorse advertised products or claims. Advertisers and ad partners may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, measure, and limit ads; where required, we will obtain your consent and honor your choices.

Ads may be contextual (e.g., based on recipe category) and measured for performance
Advertising cookies/identifiers may be used for delivery, frequency capping, and aggregate reporting; controls will be provided through the cookie banner and your browser settings
We will follow applicable consent requirements and avoid using sensitive categories for targeting
Misuse of advertising tools (e.g., fraudulent clicks, ad interference) is prohibited and may lead to account or recipe removal

Privacy & Data

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Firebase Auth and Firestore store account details, recipes, reviews, favorites, notification preferences, personalization, and meal plans; recipe images, profile photos, and meal plan images are stored in Firebase Storage. Single Sign-On (SSO) is provided via Zideons and integrated with Firebase authentication.
Support requests sent to support_zavorium@zideons.com are used only to respond and improve support quality.
Essential cookies include firebase_session (login) and session/CSRF cookies (security). A localStorage record (mmx_cookie_consent) stores your cookie preferences. If advertising is enabled, additional ad/measurement cookies or identifiers may be used with your consent where required.

Voice Data: Audio recordings are processed in real-time and immediately deleted. If server-side transcription is used, audio is discarded after processing. We never store your voice data permanently.

Feedback Data: When you submit feedback, we collect your contact information and technical details to help us improve our services and respond to your requests.

Email Notifications: By enabling email notifications, you consent to receive recipe alerts based on your favorite tags. You can unsubscribe or modify preferences at any time through your profile.

Cookies: We use essential cookies (login/session/CSRF) to keep you logged in, manage your sessions, and protect against security threats. A cookie banner lets you manage non-essential cookies. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies today. If we enable ads in the future, we will request consent where required. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

Service Features & Limitations

Daily Limits

Standard users can create up to 3 recipes per day and generate AI inventory dishes or AI meal plans once per day. Admin users have unlimited creation rights.

Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability.

Planning Tools

Shopping lists, inventory, and calendar features are provided to help you plan; please verify quantities and ingredient safety.

Session Security

Sessions automatically timeout after the configured inactivity period (15 minutes by default) to protect your account security.

Notifications

Email notifications are sent from the address configured for the service via trusted SMTP providers. Delivery depends on your email provider.

Limitation of Liability

Zavorium is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of our platform. Always use your judgment when following recipes.

Account Termination & Data Retention

You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, and we may remove recipes and/or disable or delete accounts without notice when we detect misuse or unlawful activity.

Account Deletion Policy: When you delete your account, we permanently remove your personal information including:

Your profile and account information
Your favorites and reviews
Your notification preferences and favorite tags
All associated personal data

Recipe Removal Visibility: When you delete a recipe, it is removed from public listings and your "My Recipes" section, and it is no longer accessible to regular users. Creators can also set recipes to private; private recipes are visible only to the creator and admins.

Recipe Preservation: This preservation rule applies to account deletion, not manual recipe deletion. After account deletion, recipe content that remains on the platform may become anonymous (no longer associated with your account) to preserve the community collection. Profile photos and other personal uploads are removed, while recipe images may be retained with remaining recipes.

License After Deletion: The license you grant us to host, display, and share recipes continues only for recipes that remain on the platform after account deletion. It does not expand access to recipes you manually delete.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through our platform or via email.
